Editorial Policy
How our content gets written, the standard it's held to, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who writes our content
Articles on this site are written by the NutriAI team, with AI assistance in drafting and research. We disclose that plainly because we think you should know how the words you're reading were made. A human reviews everything before it's published — AI helps us write, it doesn't publish on its own.
Our review standard
Before health-adjacent content is published, we review it against a simple standard: claims must be defensible, uncertainty must be stated rather than papered over, and nothing may read as medical advice. Nutrition science is genuinely uncertain in many places — our writing should reflect that, not hide it.
Hedged language, on purpose
You'll see words like may, possible, and estimated throughout our content and our app. That's deliberate. Where the evidence supports a possibility, we say "may" — not "will". Where the app produces an estimate, we call it an estimate. We never give medication advice, and nothing we publish is a substitute for talking to your doctor.
Corrections
When we find — or a reader shows us — that something we published doesn't meet this standard, we fix it or remove it, and we note it below. If you spot something questionable, email support@trynutriai.com. We read every message.
