NutriAI vs Bearable

The closest comparison on this site: both apps exist to help you connect what you do with how you feel. They differ in scope. Competitor facts last reviewed July 2026.

How this comparison works

We build NutriAI, so read this page knowing that. To keep it useful anyway: every competitor cell below is limited to what we could verify from their public store listings and websites as of July 2026. Where we weren't sure, we say so instead of guessing. Competitor features and prices change — always check the current listing before deciding. And where a competitor is genuinely the better fit, we say that too.

The short version

Bearable is a dedicated symptom tracker, and a genuinely good one. It correlates your symptoms against far more than food: medication, mood, sleep, energy, activity, weather, and any custom factor you define — and it syncs with wearables like Apple Watch and Google Fit. Food is one factor among many, logged manually. NutriAI inverts that: food is the whole product. AI photo and barcode scanning builds a detailed meal log with inflammation-aware grades, symptom check-ins attach to what you actually ate, and an AI coach answers questions grounded in that log. NutriAI tracks nothing outside food and symptoms — no meds, no mood, no weather, no wearables.

Choose Bearable if…

  • Your symptoms may have many possible drivers — medication changes, sleep, stress, weather, cycle — and you want one place that correlates all of them, not just food.
  • You track medications and want adherence and effects logged alongside symptoms.
  • You want wearable integration (Apple Watch, Google Fit) — this is a real gap in NutriAI today.
  • You want a substantial free tier and a mature app shaped by years of chronic-illness community feedback.

Choose NutriAI if…

  • Food is your main suspect and manual food logging is where tracking habits go to die — NutriAI's photo scan makes the food side of the log nearly effortless and far more detailed.
  • You want each meal assessed against an anti-inflammatory framework at the moment you eat it, not just recorded.
  • You want to ask an AI coach about a specific food or swap and get an answer grounded in your own history.

Honestly: some people will be well served using both — Bearable for whole-life correlation, NutriAI for a rich, low-effort food log.

Where NutriAI falls short

  • No micronutrient breakdown. NutriAI estimates calories, macros, and an inflammation-aware grade — it does not track vitamins and minerals.
  • Small review count. NutriAI 2.0 is a recent release; the established apps on this page have years of reviews and much larger user bases.
  • No wearable integration yet. There is no Apple Health, Google Fit, or fitness-tracker sync today.
  • English-only app UI today.
  • AI estimates need occasional correction. Photo analysis is an estimate; that's why every result is editable before you save it. Our scoring has also not yet been externally validated — we explain the details at How the Score Works.

The fine print

NutriAI's meal grades estimate how aligned a meal looks with anti-inflammatory eating principles. NutriAI is a general wellness tool — not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. Possible food-symptom patterns are observations worth discussing with a clinician, not diagnoses.
